Platform to dampen noise from midi pedalboard?

Hi all,

I'm about to pick up a pedalboard and other hardware from midiworks.ca, near Toronto. Before I do this, I'm wondering how worried I should be about key noise from the pedals, and whether I should do anything to dampen it. The pedalboard I'm picking up is this one: https://www.midiworks.ca/index.php?option=com_opencart&route=product/product&path=2&product_id=38

The organ is going to go on an area with wooden floor (on the left side of this image: https://imgur.com/a/i3q0qed ). There is no one underneath, but I'm in a townhouse with neighbours on the side, and the space is live enough that noise might echo throughout the house.

An idea I had was of building a tennis ball riser, as some drummers do for their kits. Is that overkill? Would the riser even support that might weight (myself + manuals, desk, pedalboard computer, bench)? I'm wading into new territory for me, so if anyone has experience of how noisy these are and how effective solutions for reducing noise would be, I'd love to hear what you have to say!

I don't know if it works or not (never stood underneath my pedal board while playing it!) but I use those mats you can buy for garages or concrete surfaces if you are standing on them.

RE: Platform to dampen noise from midi pedalboard?

I am using shock absorbers for subwoofers like these: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07NLF3627/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
I have put six of them under the pedalboard and the result is great. The console is on my study on the first floor, and without them my wife was complaining about the noise in the living room downstairs even with the slightest pedaling. With these absorbers it is basically dead silent. They are harder than one might expect, the pedalboard is moving down very slightly when you play, but the movement is so little that you don't notice, certainly less than a millimeter. They are also tough enough to survive putting your full weight on the pedalboard, no problem there. And after more than a year now they still have not hardened or compressed like felt would do, they are just like new.
So, my highest recommendation.

Some years ago, my neighbors complained about this. (Actually they nicely told me about it but I didn't want to test their forbearance...) The percussive sound of my pedal keys occasioned (slight) vibrations in the building they could hear, especially at night. (They live under my flat).

I just bought a big rug, and put my organ on it. They never said a word about it since then.

My. solution is very cheap and easy. I have you wooden floor but my organ is in a chamber above the living room and my playing disturb my wife downstairs. My solution is putting strips of felt (thickness one cm) and also I use the same felt up and down of each pedal stick.
