Download Feature Gone?

When I log in and try to download the MP3 file for a piece, it won't let me download any more. Formerly, just click and it goes. This week, I had to right-click, open a new tab, and it goes. Now, whichever way I try it, it just plays the piece... no download. So how are we supposed to get a download now, for later use when we are not on-line (or on a different system with better sound but no on-line access)?

Possible solution: if a right-click opens a new tab with a player, then right-click on THAT may give an option to "save audio". Seems rather unnecessarily complex, when a single left-click used to suffice.

Nope works fine for me. Button like there always used to be saying Download on a piece.

I think I've figured it out... same as it used to be except that I just forgot how it always worked. Right-Click on the "Download" Button and select "Save Link As...". Works every time!

The download link does not work as it did before, i.e., left click "Download" and it happened. Of course, it does work that way on some of the links but not on others. It works inconsistently. A right click and select "Download linked file" does work as does "Open link in a new tab" and then right clicking on the file and selecting "Download linked file." Seems something has changed on the server end.

NEW FEATURE -- If you open the UPLOAD page for your account, you'll see the NEW Option at the bottom of the page, with a tick-choice, to give MIDIWorks permission to use you audio/video as promotional material (fair enough, and nice there's now a choice option for that).

I've discovered the "right-click" option many years ago, and I use a variant of this method most of the time anywhere now. Right-click on the Download link for the audio, and in a new window a small MP3 player opens and is ready to play the audio. This player has a DOWNLOAD option for the MP3 recording.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, and my best wishes for next year!
