Opening web links from email

I use my iPad ass the main way to look at the world.

Until recently if I clicked on the link say for Agnus Dei or Carson Cooman the link that tries to open in the browser is broken. When I look at the browser URL I find that there are odd items in the URL that stops the browser from opening. I have to go into the URL and amend it so it will work.

For example when I got my Email this morning morning from Contrebombarde advising that Carson Cooman had upload a new piece of musi to the website eg

Carson Cooman has just posted a new piece of music entitled
Meditazione sopra Ego sum pani= vivus (2022).
You may listen to and download this piece here.
Thanks for using the Concert Hall!

When you click on the link or view the link from you get the following URL

https://www=.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/51824

You get a random = in the www.

If you try to look at this link in the browser you get page couldn’t be located. Remove the = manually and yes you can view the page.

On a link yesterday can’t remember the postee but there was a random 3 in the middle of the URL address like the random = in todays Email.

Anyone else found this error?

I am using the most recent version of IOS on my iPad. My email app is Outlook and my linked browser from the email is safari. I’ve used Chrome, FireFox, Edge etc…… but all seem to have issues with adding the same random characters into the URL.

If you don’t know what a URL is URL stands for Universal Relay Locaters. It’s like an International post box locator ie line of your home address, and post code and country location. This is where the server that hosts the website.

RE: Opening web links from email

I get almost the same but in my case one character in the URL is replaced at random by the insurgent =. I am pretty certain that the problem lies in Outlook (MS Office 2016 pro on an HP Win10 laptop) as when I use a different email client (e.g. Bluemail) it doesn't happen.
This has plagued me for some time but I assumed that it was a glitch in my Outlook installation so worked around it.
Suggestions anyone, how this might be rectified?
