Inspired Acoustics Competition
2020-03-27 - Playing and PiecesWe invite you to the first Inspired Acoustics virtual organ music making contest!
What is this contest
In these challenging times of the Coronavirus emergency, music is more needed than ever. This competition has been created to encourage making more music in our virtual organist community.
Who can enter the contest
- Any person using Inspired Acoustics virtual organs for Hauptwerk, excluding beta testers
What and how to submit
- Create, share and upload music that you recorded with any of your Inspired Acoustics virtual organs, in either audio or video format, or both, to the Contrebombarde Concert Hall (https://contrebombarde.com/)
- You can record live or with MIDI, it is up to you, but what you record should be something that you created
- One person can submit more than one recording
- Send a link of your recording to support@inspiredacoustics.com to enter the contest and permit us linking your recording to our website, should you be chosen to be the winner.
- Sign up to the Inspired Acoustics Newsletter if you are not already signed up. Winners will be announced in the Newsletter.
Selecting the winners
IA will announce two winners. The first winner will be the submitter of the most listened and recommended piece of organ music. To score the winning entry IA will multiply the number of listens and the number of recommendations for each submitted entry. (For example, 100 listens and 10 recommendations will result in 100 X 10 = 1000 points). The piece with the most points will be the winner. In case of two or more entries have equal points, all entries will be announced as winners. In addition to this point system, an additional winner will be drawn randomly from all of the competition entrants.
Prizes
The submitter of the most listened and recommended submission on Contrebombarde will be awarded with a licence of all current Inspired Acoustics Hauptwerk products.
The randomly drawn winner will be awarded with one free perpetual license of any of our virtual organs chosen by the winner.
Competition deadline and announcing the winners
Competition entries can be submitted until 31 July 2020 and the winners will be announced the next week through the Inspired Acoustics Newsletter- so make sure that you subscribe.
Discount during the competition
During this contest, all Inspired Acoustics virtual pipe organ and virtual acoustic products for Hauptwerk are offered at a 40% discount. To apply the discount you need to use the coupon code 40OFF. Please make sure to enter this code as IA will not be able to offer partial refunds for accidental full price purchases.
