Aria quasi una ciaccona, Opus 1044

This is a piece Carson quite kindly wrote for the passing of my mother on December 10th. She passed in great peace, surrounded by family. Though she had advanced Alzheimer's disease, she still enjoyed music and could follow along with favorite opera arias right up until the end.

So, here is a composition full of rest and peace, but also singing. It is a beautiful gesture that means more to me and my family than words can say.
