Description: | Tomorrow, Saturday 27.Sept.2014, is a great Organ-Fest in Birmingham. It is the 180th anniversary of the famous William-Hill-Organ in the Birmingham-Town-Hall.
James Stimpson was Organist at this organ from 1842-1886. His lovely "Andante in G" (and also the Elegy by Thalben-Ball - uploaded today) is a part of the festive organ-recital played by Thomas Trotter tomorrow there.
With this two pieces recorded with the Hereford-Organ I send the best wishes and congratulations to the anniversary via CCH !!!
