A.P.F. Boëly - Versets pour l'Hymne du 4e Ton Sacris Solemniis 0:00 Plain Chant (Ms. 169) 1:33 Fughetta (Op. 40.9) 3:07 [Verset] (Op. 36.11 & Op. 42.13)
Here is a set of three versets for the hymn Sacris Solemniis compiled from different sources (I find it unlikely that all three were meant for use at the same occasion). The first is a Plain Chant "Canto Fermo nello parte acuta" (as seen in several other Boëly Plain Chants, perhaps in a more "Germanic" style compared to the typical French plain chant en taille) and comes from the Ms. 169. The Fughetta (here played on the jeux d'anches in typical fasion) was posthumously published as Op. 40.9 by Richault. The last verset played here on the flûtes et fonds was published both at Op. 36.11 and Op. 42.13 by Richault.
