Vom Himmel hoch, da komm ich her

It certain seems odd to be thinking of a Christmas piece just as summer is about to begin, but I include this little gem as a chance to demonstrate the organ's unusual Cymbelstern.

As you know, I NEVER make any adjustments in the organs, but in this case I HAD to, as the Cymbelstern is in the Echo organ at the rear of the church, and is virtually "unhearable" in the front... ;-)

I'm going to mention something highly personal, and I hope you won't mind me doing so.

I'm supposed to have knee replacement surgery on June 18th, but will having various pre-op tests, a significant mass was discovered on my left lung. I don't have mention what this could mean...

I had a cat scan today, and will know my results on Thursday. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
