Software: Hauptwerk
Genre: Baroque
Description:
A few months ago I posted a fugue by Johann Georg Schübler (
http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/16575).

The only other piece by his hand that I know of, is the Trio presented here today. It is a charming piece to listen to. But it feels awkward playing it, and in my opinion it shows that Schübler was right in not pursuing a career as a composer.

[Update:] On second thought, the former statement is perhaps a bit too bold. It's equally possible that it's my lack of technique that makes the piece feel awkward to play. Just try it out for yourself with the score provided below.
