Composer: Martin, Gilbert M.
Sample Producer: Sonus Paradisi
Sample Set: Laurenskerk - Main Organ - 1973 Marcussen & Son
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Pipe Duster
Description:
This is a repeat selection of "Laudation" from Volume 3 of "Pipe Dusters" ... a pull-out-all-the-stops collection for the church organist. (Lorenz Publishing Co.)

Edo (EdoL) and Terry (pointyflute) both suggested they thought this piece on the Big Marc could make use of the chamades for a bigger effect at the end, so I decided to try it out and see if they were right. Well, they certainly were. For reference, here's the URL for the original posting: http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/18289

This piece is in A-A-B-A-A format. For the A-A-B portion, it is being performed the same as in the original posting, but then additional stops are added including both the Tr. Brill. and Tr. de Bat. chamades for the final A-A portion. You will notice an extra sizzle to the melody, which then ends with notes an octave apart, concluded with a nice full chord.

Let me know what you think about the differences between the two uploads.

Thanks,
-Jim
