Description:	"I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas" words and music by John Rox (1902-1957) First recorded by Gayla Peevey (10 years old at the time) in 1953. You can still purchase the sheet music from your favorite music supplier. I've given this the reverence and liturgical treatment appropriate to a song of this seriousiness. (..... that's only if you use reiterating sleigh bells, and marimba in you church!) No finesse. Certainly not a "light touch." Just having a bit of fun........
