Thurlow Weed (b. 1966) is a composer and organist who has held positions in Florida and Ohio. As a composer, Weed has written primarily hymn tunes in traditional English styles. He has collaborated with several authors, including Michael Morgan, Michael Hudson, and Christopher L. Webber. Weed has also composed works in Sacred Harp/West Gallery idioms, mass settings, anthems, psalm chants, and organ pieces. In 2015 he became Secretary General and Bishop of the Diocese of the West for the Progressive Episcopal Church. |
