Finally, also the first Vierne symphony is complete now!
For this movement I used nearly the full range of stops and sub-couplers for the last two pages. My first intention was only to use "Rouen" stops like in the other movements before, but the end of the piece needed more power, so you might call it a kind of tribute to St. Ouen and as well to Notre Dame - fortunately the grand survivor of the inferno...
