Composer: Wolstenholme, William
Sample Producer: Lavender Audio
Sample Set: Hereford Cathedral Willis Organ
Software: Hauptwerk
Genre: Romantic
Description:
Here is a comparison of the "Air du Nord," played this time on the "partial" Hereford Willis.

This was harder to get the right sounds.

The tune is played on the Cor Anglais of the Solo, and the accompaniment is played on the Stopped Diapason and Salicional of the Swell.

The middle section dialogues the Stopped Diapason of the Great against the Open Diapason of the Swell.

Managing the Swell/Solo boxes is essential, as there is LOTS of opening and closing.

I have the orginal (or at least VERY old) Paxton edition.

Bardon Music has the complete works of Wolstenholme, but they are NOT cheap... ;-)
