Composer: Eric Quist
Sample Producer: Voxus Virtual Organs
Sample Set: Van Dam - Tholen
Software: Hauptwerk
Genre: Genevan Psalter
Description:
This brief fugatic prelude and choral features plenum+reeds. Note how the carillon dominates the fortissimo registration during the choral.

In this piece, I switched off the slider. This option features a very nice fixed acoustic/organ balance.

Eric Quist (1977) grew up in Tholen. Currently he is organist at the Steendam/Van Oeckelen organ of the Reformed Congregation in Tholen. He studied with Bas de Vroome and graduated cum laude. He won international organ concourses in Leiden and Nijmegen. He frequently writes compositions based on the psalms from the Genevan Psalter for liturgical use. This one is an example.

I'm working on an improved version.
