Not much musical substance, but a nice curiosity...
I decided to post it in Advent as in some regions of Germany (esp. in mining areas like the Erzgebirge) we know the "Christmas Nightingale". The term comes from the old bird catchers. The miners earned some extra money by catching birds. Catch season was in autumn, when the birds gathered. If they caught a nightingale it was brought home and set in a cage. After some time the little bird felt comfortable and began to sing, usually during Advent. The beautiful song made the people happy and they called it the Christmas Nightingale.
In my rendition you can hear two nightingales in a contest.
