The bots are back.
Congaden just posted something again today. We had a nice couple of months bot free, definitely still errors with loading going on, but the bots are back. Be careful.

RE: The bots are back.I don't get it! Whats the point of a bot posting a blank audio file here? What is there to gain? No data to grab, no benefits for clicks, so why in the world are they doing it? |

RE: The bots are back.In the description they show a website and email. That's what they want, someone to click on the site or email them, it's free advertising for them. Maybe the concerthall should charge a small fee for any new account to be established. A bot would either not be able to provide a credit card or would probably use a stolen card which wouldn't work. If they used a valid card and then posted click bait, the admin would know who they are and be able to close the account and keep the money to cover the work involved. Of course that would have to be part of the new account agreement. |

RE: The bots are back.It seems someone has cleared the forum again, but at the same time two respected contributors have completely vanished from the Concert Hall - Erzahler and Agnus_Dei. I first noticed this when the comments that Erzahler (Andrew) had posted on my uploads together with my replies had disappeared. I made search and it seems that all playlists uploads and comments of both Andrew and David have vanished. From what both have said, in past comments and uploads I don’t think this was purposeful. It seems that there’s either a fault in the system or the person who cleared the forum accidentally wiped them. I’d advise everyone here with any uploads or comments to make your own backups quickly. Also perhaps we should try and help Andrew and David recover their accounts? |

Also perhaps we should try and help Andrew and David recover their accounts? I just was thinking the same thing last night. I thought I'd been out of the loop too long when I saw David's piece wasn't in the charts last night. I didn't think it had been a month since he posted his last item. I didn't do a search for anyone, though. I wonder how the admin could make such a grave error? Maybe one or both had responded to one of the bot messages in the forum, and when the bots were scrubbed, so was everyone that had complained about such messages in the same threads? I bet there are others, too. |

RE: The bots are back.I just noticed that all Pietro’s pieces have vanished. How they could be delete thousands of uploads by accident beats me. I do hope they’ll be able to recover them, some wonderful performances have been lost. |

RE: The bots are back.I sincerely hope there's a backup somewhere: as a sample set producer, I've included several links to CB uploads on my website. Their disappearance is a huge loss for both the owners and me! I hope the problem can be resolved, and soon. |
