Fantasie in A

Here it is on Salisbury.

It's very different from the Metz recording. If I were picking one, I'd have to go with this, as it allows a bigger "emotional impact" on the one great climax where the two themes sound simultaneously.

I remainded "faithful" to Franck's registrations, within the context of a large ENGLISH cathedral organ. Hence, I did allow myself some "freedom" in the combination of stops, and the level of the dynamics.

For the Voix Humaine sections, I used the 32' Open in the pedal, despite the fact that it's a little too big on certain notes.
