Feeling a "Buxtehude binge" coming on, I've been working on some of the larger works - mostly new and a few old.

This festive work is a shorter piece that is brilliantly improvisatory in nature,

In looking for other "performance examples" of the piece, since it was new to me, I see that it appears at least twice on "Christmas collections".

While it is indeed festive, I don't think it has any particular "Christmas associations" - at least none that I am aware of! :-)
