Chorale-Prelude on the tune "St Peter"

This is the first of a trio of pieces comprising Opus 20, from one of England's most overlooked organ and choral composers. This pieces has the tune carried in the tenor region on various combinations of the Great opens, accompanied by the Swell and Solo strings, with the obligatory build-up and full-swell climax in the middle, before ebbing away again into the lush dream-land of the remote Vox Angelica & Salicional.
