The Strife Is O'er, The Battle Done Uploaded by: arpch01 Composer: Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina Organ: Salisbury Cathedral Father Willis Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 163
On request from PTLR, here is a "one stop" version of the "Pavane de la Belle au Bois Dormants" by Maurice Ravel.
It was not possible to play it on Wasselonne because some notes are out of the compass.
So I tried several virtual organs, to find a suitable 8' stop, with or without swellbox, with or without tremolo ... I wanted it very soft and distant (far)
Finally, I'm rather satisfied with the sound of the Forcalquier's Récit's bourdon ( with the Soubasse 16 ).
Hope you'll like it Patrick !
PS : If anyone knows any other Ravel's arrangements for organ, please share ...
