Interludium (Jesu Namen 1)

The cycle "Jesu Namen" again comes from "Das heilige Jahr". The 7 pieces I am going to post during the next few weeks were composed for the feast of the Name of Jesus, which is celebrated on January 3.

Except for the last (a splendid toccata) these pieces are rather austere meditations, no easy stuff to listen to. I was reluctant to record and post them, but then the desire to complete Volume 1 of "Das heilige Jahr" was stronger. My mission on CCH is not fishing for comments, it is promoting German organ music of the last hundred years...
