Description:	For information on Joseph Ahrens please see my previous uploads. The cycle "Jesu Namen" again comes from "Das heilige Jahr". The 7 pieces I am going to post during the next few weeks were composed for the feast of the Name of Jesus, which is celebrated on January 3. For this choral prelude Ahrens wants a Terzian. The Marcussen offers a Tertiaan on the Borstwerk, which bathes the melody in warm gold.
