Description:
The Nullarbor is a semi-arid, almost tree-less plain situated between South and Western Australia. It is roughly 200,000 sq kms (77,000 sq miles) in area.

The British explorer, EJ Eyre, described it as "a hideous anomaly, a blot on the face of Nature, the sort of place one gets into in bad dreams".

Hopefully, this little piece will not engender any bad dreams.
