Robert J. Powell (b. 1932) — Prelude in F major (2013) for organ

American composer Robert J. Powell (b. 1932) was educated at Louisiana State University and Union Theological Seminary. His appointments include Assistant Organist at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine (New York, NY), Director of Music at St. Paul's School (Concord, NY), and Director of Music and Organist at Christ Episcopal Church (Greenville, SC) which he served from 1968 to 2003. He has composed hundreds of compositions in all church music genres.
