| Description: | I made a combination of two related compositions:
- the Choralvorspiel on Christ lag in Todesbanden by Friedrich Wilhelm Zachau (1663 – 1712) and
- a Choral setting by Samuel Scheidt (1587 – 1654).
Scheidt and Zachau were German composers and organists and worked both in Halle (and elsewhere), but not at the same time, as you'll understand.

Played on the Zwolle Schnitger, with rich plenum registrations (reeds included).
Tuning: Meantone SixthComma (because of the early baroque character).
