Jesus Christus, unser Heiland

This choral prelude is transcribed from manuscript Mus.ms. 22541 III, owned by the Staatsbibliothek Berlin. The dorian sixth in the first bar is perhaps a bit uncomfortable to our 'modern' ears, but was perfectly acceptable at the time this piece was written. In the second half of the piece the upper voices move in a long stretch of eigth notes. To keep it more interesting (to me) I throw in some extra sixteenth notes here and there.
