I am a very big fan of our own Terry Streeton, aka pointyflute.
When Terry uploaded "Rembrance" a short while ago, I guess I must have missed it, as I had not commented on it. I did NOT listen to the upload before doing my own version.
Here is my performance of it. I chose the Caen organ, as I feel that really suits the music well. To me this one is VERY French, and the strains of Debussy echo throughout! Yes the "form" is different, but the "soul" of it is there - at least to my understanding of it.
I don't know what "sort" of "remembrance" Terry had in mind, but to me this one was a romantic one and a sad one. So, without "permission" I've "retitled" it - at least internally. The "new title" is "Le Ballon rouge - Coeur brisé sur la Plage". Now if you are like me, and have to get your French phrases from the Bing Translator, that translates as: "The red Balloon - Broken heart on the Beach"...
I found this one to be VERY emotional.
ALL registrations could be executed on the REAL organ, and there are no "fake" changes, meaning changes that could not be done IRL in this performance.
Here is the link to his orginal upload:

Again I will abandon all decorum and say in advance: "BIG BRAVO Terry, and THANKS!"
