Cantabile no. 2

In this video I am pleased to present my interpretation of Cantabile No 2 "For you" by Enrico Pasini, this one is dedicated to him.

Enrico Pasini is an Italian musician born in Rome, the city where he started playing at the age of six, where he graduated in piano, organ and composition. He studied at the Conservatory of St. Cecilia in Rome and taught organ at the Conservatorio Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina in Cagliari, the city where he has been Titular organist, for 30 years, at the Sanctuary of St. Salvatore da Horta (Church of St. Rosalia, Cagliari) and later, with the same function, at the Church of St. Sebastiano.

He is artistic director of the musical and Cultural Association "Il cromorno" who founded personally and which annually organizes the international organ Festival.

Remarkable his artistic activity in Italy and abroad, both as a soloist and in duo with various musicians, collaborating with many choirs, Rai, Vatican Radio.

Well known his compositions for organ and other instruments, and particularly the Cantabili for organ.

Several CDs recorded with many of his compositions. In addition he teaches organ at the Pontifical Regional Seminary of Sardinia.

This interpretation of the cantabile No 2 "For you" was performed on the organ with hauptwerk system, Marcussen & Son organ, Laurenskerk, Rotterdam.
