Voluntary VIII in D minor, op. 5

from "Ten Organ Voluntaries Opus 5" by John Stanley (1713-1786)

- Voluntary VIII in D minor (Allegro - Adagio - Allegro (Fugato)

1. Allegro (Full Organ / Stopped Diapason, Fl. 4', Fl. 2' in Great and Swell)
2. Adagio (Stopped Diapason Swell and Great)
3. Allegro (Full Organ / + Tr. 8')

Some time ago I read a comment by David Lamb (Agnus Dei), which proposed to play the Voluntaries Stanley with the largest organ of Hereford. I wanted to try it for yourself and I must say that I liked the experiment! Thanks David for the tip ... :-)
