If you watch the video (best viewed in 720p), the second refrain shows open harmony, which is a theatre organ technique made famous by Jesse Crawford. (played here on 16' & 4' Tibias with 16' Vox and Sax.) Basically you take the middle note out of a 3 note chord, and play it an octave lower on the same manual, add some double glissandi and you are playing "open harmony." |
