Robert Hilf (1942–2015) — Fanfare (2014) for organ
Robert Hilf (1942–2015) was educated in music at Duquesne University (BM and MM) and for more than 30 years pursued parallel careers as a financial advisor as well as organist for a number of churches in the Pittsburgh Diocese. Early in his career he had been for eight years Director of Music, Liturgy, and Choral Activities at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Upon his retirement from financial work in 2010, he returned to active composing again, opened a teaching studio, and published several collections of original music with World Library Publications.
