Organ transcription by J.S. Bach of Antonio Vivaldi's "Concert in A minor" for strings.
This is a continuation of my trying to revive this piece from my Senior Recital at California State University, Fresno from approximately 45 years ago.
I recently purchased the Krzeszow sample set and just last night got everything working with the Krzeszow Surround Extension created by Christoph Schmitz, which provides portrait & landscape left and right stop jambs.
When I was having difficulties with the installation I received help both from Martin Dyde and Christoph. I was so pleased when Christoph offered to make a special set of stop jambs with more readable fonts because of my having difficulty reading the script font normally used for this organ. He actually delivered the changes within a few hours. How spectacular is that?
Once I had everything working I started practicing this movement of the "A minor Concerto". It was such a spectacular sound I just had to forge ahead and try to get a recording for the Concert Hall. It's not perfect, but it's definitely getting better. I still need to slow it down a bit.
Please let me know what you think. I just love this full organ sound using the 32' pedal stop, and even adding its reed counterpart at the very end.

I can honestly say this extension is the final push I needed to make the purchase of this organ. I've heard so many good things about it, but I really needed the portrait stop jambs. Thanks again, Christoph.
