In this concise work, we once again behold Bach - the Giant!
Despite it's relatively brief length, this is a masterful and mighty work.
To me this sounds like a festival procession is taking place. All the decoration and fanfare is completed, and it is time for the ACTUAL procession to happen.
THIS music "accompanies" that procession, as only Bach could!
The registration is the glorious full plenum, with Trompet 8' on the Hauptwerk, but without the 16' Prestant. The plenum of the Positiv is coupled to it. The Pedal is full, without the Hauptwerk to Pedal coupler.
