In the seventies of the last century a collection of works by Bach was discovered by German organist Wilhelm Krummbach.
Until the time of the discovery it had just been another manuscript in the vaults of Yale University under the name LM4708.
As usual, all kinds of discussions at once broke loose about the authenticity of the work.
I don't know if the experts all agree now, but at least this piece has got a BWV number.
If authentic, it was probably written by Bach in his early years in Arnstadt.
