SALLY, PRIDE OF OUR ALLEY

This melody is loosely based on a 1725 song, Sally in Our Alley, which had been a traditional English country dance. This version was played by me from memory so there are probably a few imperfections but its one of those songs that got stuck in my head after hearing the original Gracie Fields recording. I've heard it played at Blackpool by some of the great organists so I guess its not lost in time. For better or worse, here is my rendition.
