Description: | Back in 1984, I was designing interfaces for the APPLE II, I found that Passport Designs had invented the 1st MIDI interface for it. I purchased one and proceeded to make a crude interface for my Dad's player piano to record piano rolls.Being excited by the whole new industry, I contacted Ramsi Tick of QRS and drove up there to show him my works. He started to laugh and said that he hadn't sold a TITINA roll in years, WHY WOULD I WASTE MY TIME ? I said my dad played this on the player and I grew to like it. He said "THIS STUFF WILL NEVER FLY" but here it is. |
