Description:
Juan Bautista José Cabanilles (1644 – 1712) was a Spanish organist and composer at Valencia Cathedral.

He is considered by many to have been the greatest Spanish Baroque composer, and has been called the Spanish Bach.

This piece is written for a devided manual-organ with the accompaniment in the right hand and the melody voice left.

It is a joyous piece: Guide d'Arrezzo and Adam of Fulda both charactetrize the fifth mode as being happy.

I have to stress, that I'm not an expert on Spanish organ music; though I did some reading and know of the general baroque interpretation principles.

I just like to play it on original Spanish instruments in the way I feel it sounds best.
