| Description: | Derived from Rob Stefanussen's MIDI file he posted along with http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/19945 .
I was curious how this piece would sound like with a "controversial" (i.e. soft and flutey) registration, so I replayed his Metz MIDI through the OAM 1904 Sauer set with its beautiful flute stops. -- Interesting outcome in my ears, since it induces a more intimate atmosphere rather than the ceremonial "blast-away" effect that is usually expected.
For those who own a 7.1 surround system, an 8-channel FLAC file can be picked up here to get an impression of what it will sound like in my living room:

- Player: Current versions of Media Player Classic are able to properly play multi-channel FLAC files. |
