Johann Lütter (1913–1992) — Alsdorf Fantasy No. 6 (1980) for organ
German composer Johann Lütter (1913–1992) was born in Würselen and was educated in Aachen and Cologne. From 1950 until his retirement in 1988 he served as director of music for St. Mariä-Heimsuchung in Alsdorf. His output as a composer included many works for choirs, organ, chamber ensembles, voices, and the theater. With the support of the Johann Lütter Foundation, Edition Dohr in Cologne began a publication series of his complete works.
