Kinship - Day 62

"Kinship" is the name of the boat belonging to a very friendly couple I met briefly back in Spooners Creek, NC. They invited me too their boat, ostensibly to tell them about what lies ahead for them as they head further north. But more than that they were looking to share stories and anecdotes. They were all about kinship. That's often true of sailors and all kinds of other people who share a common vocation or avocation or perspective... But what if we extended those feelings of friendship - of common ground - to everyone who shares the human experience? What if just being human were enough to spark that sense of kinship...?
