Description:	The Pelicans can often be observed almost as if they are standing guard atop the piles. To me, pelicans look comedic but that is my prejudice. I'm their own realm they are very serious. All their actions - like so much of what we call nature - a matter of life and death. Nothing they do is any laughing matter.
