Description:
Arvo Pärt composed "Spiegel im Spiegel" (i.e. mirror in the mirror) in 1978 before he left Estonia. This piece is very well known from several movies and you will find articles on it in Wikipedia in several languages. The German article explains the formal construction rather detailed so that the title becomes clear, but the English version is also rather helpful.

Originally written for violin and piano, it is available in transcriptions for many instruments. The organ version by Giovanni Battista Mazza is published by Universal Edition.

This piece is technically easy, but mentally challenging. I needed eight attempts to prepare a satisfying recording...
