The Concert Hall's own Roman Bissinger was kind enough to send me his Organ Romantics 1 music book. I can thoroughly recommend every piece in the book!
Here is a little about Roman, in his own words from his website
http://www.roman-bissinger.com/):
'Roman Bissinger was born in 1967 in the city of Bamberg, Germany. He grew up in a very musical environment and took his first piano lessons when he was 10 years old.
Because church music was always of great interest to him, he began to play the organ at 18 years of age and has, since then, performed avocationally at services in various churches.
Today he lives and works amongst other things as a spare time musician (Catholic Church music C-exams) and composer in Munich.'
I chose to play this piece on the Mt Carmel Skinner to mix things up a bit - all my recent uploads have been on the Klais organ.
The registration is simple, following the score itself. I really like this piece. It is nice and calm and the oboe plays a nice melodic line. The piece is dedicated by the composer to Concert Hall's own Agnus_Dei. The suggested time for playing this work is
2:30. However, I hope neither Roman nor David object to me playing it a bit slower!
Great - Harmonic Flute 8
Swell - Diapason 8
Choir - Orchestral Oboe 8

Hope you enjoy.
