Composer: Bach, J. S.
Sample Producer: Augustine's Virtual Organs
Sample Set: Rieger-Esztergom
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Augustine of Augustine's Virtual Organs (http://grandorgue-hauptwerk.vacau.com) sent me a copy of the new sample set he is working on to test. I really like it - the sounds it can make, especially the full organ is wonderful, and quiet stops like the Celeste + Krummhorn are very suitable for romantic music.

This piece couples together the Rohrfloete + Violin Coelestis of the Swell, the Gedackt of the Positive to the Gemshorn of the Great. The pedal uses the Subbass 16 with all manuals coupled to it.

These are Augustine's words about the organ:

"The organ was built by the Rieger organ factory in 1941.The organ is three-manual and 30-register.The organ was designed by Joseph Geyer. His main ambition was alloying the romantic and baroque instruments.

The storage requirement of the organ is small. 16 bit: 3 GB, 24 bit: 5 GB
It is the stereo-mix version. I will prepare 6-channel surround version too, but this is about two months of work"

Well worth checking this organ out when it comes out!
