I was asked by a friend to improvise some sound clips with a duration ranging from a few seconds to several-minute soundtrack-alike pieces for his documentary works on World War I in the Italian part of the Dolomite Alps. Here's the first set of recordings in a pre-production state, which you may freely use in your own productions as you like. (In case you'd like to give credit, using "Woody/mC" as my nick/handle would be quite an honor to me.) At the current stage, it is still undecided by the producer whether the pieces will be used "as-is" or if additional orchestration will be applied.
These were recorded live and entirely using Hauptwerk, so I thought they could be worth being archived here on ContreBombarde. In case the "CB elders" consider these posts to clutter up the database, please do not hesitate to drop me a note in the comments. (E.g., I could imagine to reduce them to a reasonable set of longer or "most significant" pieces only.)
Currently, 320kbps MP3 and 7.1ch FLAC packages are available on cloud storage:
Extensions to the packages will be made as soon as new pieces are produced and the CB playlist will be updated accordingly.
Suggestions for improvements and new pieces are welcome in the comments at any time.
