Skizzen für den Pedalflügel, op. 58 no. 1

Robert Schumann obtained a pedal piano in 1845 and he wrote many pieces for this instrument. The 'piano pédalier' has become a hardly seen or heard instrument nowadays.
Luckily compositions for the pedal piano sound very well on organ too, especially in reverberant spaces like Poblet Abbey.
