Nicolaus Bruhns (1665 – 1697) was a Danish-German organist, violinist, and composer. He was one of the most prominent organists and composers of his generation.
His small three part praeludium in g-minor is not as famous as his other praeludiae or his fantasia "Nun komm der Heiden", but it is also an excellent example of the northern German tradition.
