Colin Brumby (1933–2018) — Prelude No. 2 (2014) for organ

Australian composer Colin Brumby (1933–2018) was born in Melbourne and educated in Australia, Spain, and England. Upon his return to Australia, he joined the music faculty of the University of Queensland, from which he retired in 1998. Brumby was music director of the Queensland Opera Company from 1968 to 1971. His catalog as a composer includes works in all genres, including operas, concerti for many instruments, several symphonies, orchestral suites, and overtures, many chamber works, and a large number of sacred works for the church.
