Description:
Haydn Wood (1882-1959) wrote around 200 songs and 100 light orchestral pieces his long career. He is probably best known for his song "Roses of Picardy". This piece from his 1946 "London Landmarks" suite is quintessentially English and works rather well on the instrument so popular at the time of its composition.
